Neck pain

Maybe you know this...

You wake up in the morning and your neck feels stiff.

Every twisting motion is painful. You feel pain when checking your shoulder in the car. Working at the computer for extended periods leads to tension, and sometimes the discomfort radiates to your shoulders, head, or arm.

Perhaps you've been experiencing pain for weeks or even months. You've tried massages, physiotherapy, or medication. It gets better for a short time – but after a while, the symptoms return.

If this sounds familiar, you're not alone.

Symptoms

Neck pain can manifest in many different ways. Patients often report:

  • Neck pain

  • Tension in the neck and shoulder muscles

  • Limited mobility

  • Pain when turning the head

  • Radiating pain in shoulders or arms

  • Tension headaches

  • Tingling or numbness in the arm or hand

  • dizziness

  • Pressure in the neck

  • Pain after prolonged sitting or screen work

Possible medical diagnoses

Neck pain can be associated with, among other things, the following diagnoses:

  • Muscle tension

  • Cervical spine syndrome

  • Cervicobrachialgia

  • Herniated disc in the cervical spine

  • Osteoarthritis of the cervical spine

  • Facet joint syndrome

  • whiplash

  • Degenerative changes of the cervical spine

A diagnosis often describes the structural changes. However, it does not always explain why pain persists or why the symptoms recur despite various treatments.

My approach

The neck is far more than just a collection of muscles and joints. It is closely connected to the nervous system and often reacts sensitively to physical and emotional stress.

In my experience, structural changes alone are often insufficient to fully explain persistent symptoms.

Therefore, with the 5XPain™ method, I not only look at the neck itself, but also at the interplay of the nervous system, regulation and the individual reaction patterns of your body.

The aim of the treatment is to release blockages and support the body in returning to a state in which natural regulation becomes possible.

Many patients report increased mobility, reduced pain, or a feeling that long-standing tension is being released during treatment.

The body doesn't heal because the pain disappears. The pain disappears when the body is able to regulate itself again.

What can change again

When neck pain subsides, often much more than just the neck changes.

Many patients report that they are experiencing:

  • turn the head without pain

  • relaxed driving

  • working longer hours on the computer

  • Sleep without tension

  • to do sports

  • work more concentrated

  • breathe more freely

  • to enjoy everyday life without constant pain

Because often it's not the neck itself that's the problem – but the limitations that arise from it every day.
