Back pain

Maybe you know this...

You get up in the morning and your back is already tense.

Prolonged sitting at the office becomes a strain. Bending over suddenly causes a pulling sensation in the lower back. After a long workday, every movement feels difficult, and even simple tasks like tying shoes or carrying groceries become arduous.

Perhaps you've already tried physiotherapy, medication, or various treatments. Some have provided short-term relief – but the symptoms keep returning.

If this sounds familiar, you're not alone.

Symptoms

Back pain can present very differently. Patients often report:

  • Pain in the lower or upper back

  • Sharp or pulling pain

  • Muscle tightness in the back

  • Pain when sitting or standing

  • Pain when bending or twisting

  • Pain radiating into the buttocks or leg

  • Tingling or numbness

  • Limited mobility

  • Pain after physical exertion or prolonged sitting

Possible medical diagnoses

Back pain can be associated with different diagnoses, for example:

  • Herniated disc

  • Muscle tension

  • Lumbago

  • Sciatica

  • Facet joint syndrome

  • Spinal canal stenosis

  • Degenerative changes in the spine

  • Osteoarthritis of the small facet joints

Regardless of the diagnosis, many people experience similar symptoms. What matters is not only what the diagnosis is, but how your body is currently responding and why the pain persists.

My approach

Many treatments focus primarily on the affected structure – for example, muscles, intervertebral discs or joints.

In my experience, however, the structure does not always explain why pain persists for months or even years.

Therefore, with the 5XPain™ method, I not only look at the back itself, but also at the interplay of the nervous system, regulation and the individual reaction patterns of your body.

The aim of the treatment is to release existing blockages and to support the body in returning to a state in which natural regulation becomes possible.

Many patients report changes during treatment such as reduced pain, warmth, tingling, deeper relaxation, or improved mobility.

The body doesn't heal because the pain disappears. The pain disappears when the body is able to regulate itself again.

What can change again

When back pain subsides, often much more than just the pain itself changes.

Many patients report that they are experiencing:

  • Getting up more easily in the morning

  • being able to sit or stand for longer periods

  • bend over without fear

  • Enjoy walks

  • to do sports

  • lifting their children or grandchildren

  • sleeping through the night

  • to experience everyday life more freely again

Because often the real problem isn't the pain itself – but what it takes away from you in everyday life.
